The fishing season is launched a few days ago and our first guests have arrived.
The winter lasted very long this year and came the thaw, because of too low temperatures only slowly. As a result, the water in all rivers is currently very high. It's obvious that nature awakens at least two weaks later than usual.

Add to this that we got the last few weeks more than enough rain and you can imagine that the conditions to get a fish are far from ideal.

But despite all this, our first guests still manage to catch fish. The numbers are not very high but the fish is large and remarkably fit. Especially when you consider that the water temperature is still only about 8 degrees.

Besides some pictures of the first fish caught this season. Despite the bad weather and the cold water we had a still surprisingly good start. Actually it can only get better from now ........
